Mission

ESO STroke Education Platform: eSTEP

eSTEP is an ESO initiative to gather all available stroke related educational content in one place, to provide a single comprehensive resource for members of ESO to develop knowledge and understanding in any and all areas of stroke.

This is a core element of ESO’s mission, to promote research in Europe, enhance stroke training and reduce the burden of stroke.

Course Catalogue

The eSTEP Course Catalogue provides an overview of ESO educational materials created and compiled for ease of use. The Course Catalogue is organised based on core and advanced content to suit members at all levels.

Missed an ESO webinar? Want to re-watch a lecture? Test your skills? You will find it all outlined here.

Welcome to eSTEP

This wide-ranging and flexible learning management system currently provides access to all our material, browseable and searchable in dedicated areas for each of our affiliated societies, meetings or companies; both as individual talks and collected together into our ESO Stroke Collections to provide a systematic, stepwise approach to stroke education.

With your support, we will build these collections to cover all aspects of stroke, we will provide dedicated training modules, multiple choice questions and list of references that provide CME points and meet the needs of everyone from trainees to senior clinicians. Downloadable presentations will provide core material prepared by experts for you to use, and eSTEP itself will provide a platform for webinars, interactive group teaching and shared resources.

This is your resource and your opportunity, and we would love to hear from you with ideas to build this platform to for all of us to use to improve stroke education across Europe. Contact us with your input on estep@eso-stroke.org or share your feedback on eSTEP via a short user survey.

About eSTEP

eSTEP is the stroke education platform of ESO. Launched in September 2021 at ESOC2021, eSTEP strives to serve ESO members by providing a singular platform for stroke education at all levels. We aim to preserve valuable educational materials, create new content and share learnings across countries and languages to work together in reducing the burden of stroke in Europe.

eSTEP is the educational resource for clinical stroke care and stroke research for physicians, researchers, paramedical personnel, as well as national professional and lay stroke societies to improve stroke education in Europe.
