Charlotte Cordonnier is Staff Neurologist in the Stroke Unit directed by Prof Leys in Lille, France.

Dr Charlotte Cordonnier is a neurologist specialised in stroke with a master degree in neurosciences. She is member of Prof Leys' team in Lille (France) and has also worked in Paris (France) with Prof Mas, in Perth (Australia) with Prof Hankey and in Amsterdam (Netherlands) with Prof Scheltens.

She is currently working on intracerebral haemorrhages as a reseach fellow with Prof Warlow in Edinburgh.

She was part of the French prospective registry of spinal cord infarcts published in the JNNP in 2004. She is currently working on microbleeds in a dementia cohort in Amsterdam (Prof Scheltens) and is setting-up a collaboration with Prof Warlow in Edinburgh. She is also a Faculty Member of the European Master Programme for Stroke Medicine.

Dr Cordonniers has authored and co-authored around 15 scientific papers on cerebrovascular diseases in peer-reviewed journals such as Neurology, the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Cerebrovascular Diseases, and Stroke.
