Biography

Jesper Petersson is a Neurologist at the Department of Neurology, University of Lund, Malmö University Hospital in Malmö, Sweden.

Dr Petersson’s current research interests focus on treatment of acute ischaemic stroke especially therapy with cooling and hypothermia. He is also interested in endoneurial capillary abnormalities presage deterioration of glucose tolerance and accompany peripheral neuropathy in man.

Dr Petersson has authored and co-authored more than 20 scientific papers on cerebrovascular diseases and pharmacology in journals such as Diabetes, Pharmacology and Toxicology, the British Journal of Pharmacology, and Lakartidningen.
